  • What forms on payment do you accept?We accept Visa, Master Card and American Express debit and gift cards. We also accept Duck Store gift cards.

    NOTE: Text books can also be paid for with Discover debit and credit cards as well as academic supply cards.

  • How do I pay for my order with a Duck Store gift card?Duck Store gift cards can be used for in store and online purchases. Simply enter the 19-digit card number in the box under “Additional Information” on the checkout page.

    You will be required to enter an alternate method of payment (debit/credit card) in case your gift card does not have sufficient funds to pay for your order and S&H fees. This credit card will be authorized for the full order total when you place your order. When your order is processed, we will assess available funds on your Duck Store Gift Card. If your available gift card balance completely covers the order total, your credit card authorization will be completely voided. If the available gift card balance does not cover the order total, the available gift card balance will be applied and deducted from the order total. Your credit card will be charged for the remaining order total.

    Text Books

    You can pay for your text books with a gift card or academic supply card. To do so, enter the 19-digit card number and the 4-digit verification pin number in the field located on the online checkout form.

    You will be required to enter an alternate method or payment (debit/credit card) in case the gift card or academic supply card does not have sufficient funds to pay for your entire order. This credit card will be authorized for the full order total when you place your order.

    When you order is processed, we will assess available funds on your Duck Store gift card or academic supply card. If the available gift card or academic supply card covers the order total, your credit card authorization will be completely voided. If the available balance does not cover the order total, the available gift card or academic supply card balance will be applied and deducted from the order total. Your credit card will be charged for the remaining order total.

  • How do I use more than one gift card to pay for my purchase?Enter the first gift card in the box under “Additional Information” on the checkout page. Enter the additional gift card numbers in the “Notes + Special Instructions” field so our processing team will know to charge more than one gift card for your purchase.

    Text Books

    If you would like to use more than one gift card or academic supply card, the available funds must be consolidated onto one card prior to placing your order. If you need to consolidate cards, please contact Melissa Roush at (541) 346-9447 or at roush@uoregon.edu.

  • I have a question on my charges.Immediately after placing your order, an authorization hold will be placed on your credit card. You card will be charged when we process your order (usually within 24-72 hours).

    If you attempted to place your order more than once (most commonly due to an address verification or security code issue) it is possible that you will see more than one authorization charge on your card. Be assured we will not charge your card for any non-successful order attempts. If you cancel an order, we will void the authorization hold placed on your card. The authorization hold should be cleared within 1-2 business days.

    Authorization charges typically clear within 1-2 business days. If you have questions regarding authorization holds for attempted orders, please contact your card-issuing bank to inquire about clearing those authorization holds.

At the time your order is physically processed by the Literary Duck staff, your order will be charged the actual, full amount for your course materials.   • When will my credit card be charged?Your credit card will be immediately authorized when you place your order. Your credit card will be fully charged when we process your order (24-72 hours).

  • I need a copy of my receipt/invoice.You will receive a copy of your order confirmation (receipt/invoice) via email after you submit your order. This can be used as your receipt/invoice. If you lose your email confirmation, click the “My Account” link at the top right corner of our site to log into your account. Under the “My Orders” header, click on the “Print Invoices” link to view all past orders and print invoices.

    Text Books

    You will receive a copy of your order confirmation (receipt/invoice) via email after you submit your order. This can be used as your receipt/invoice. If you lose your email confirmation, you will need to log into your text book profile account and click on the “Track Orders” to view your order history. From here you can print your order summary.
