- How much is my shipping and how are my rates calculated?
We ship directly from Eugene, Oregon. Shipping charges vary by destination and shipping method. For rates and information, enter your destination country/state/zip code into the “Calculating Shipping Rates” box on the Cart page and recalculate your order total to view shipping options.For most orders, standard UPS or USPS ground for the contiguous U.S. is $5.99. We also offer 2nd Day and Next Day shipping upgrades. The Duck Store offers UPS and USPS as well as DHL for international packages; for rates, please refer the international shipping options available at time of checkout. We charge additional Shipping & Handling for fragile/heavy/oversized items such as diploma frames and electronic hardware. These costs are automatically calculated in the shipping rates. Base rate for shipping text book orders is $5.99 with an additional $1 per book fee. We also offer 2nd Day shipping upgrades.
- When will my order ship?
Orders are generally shipped on only business days (Monday-Friday), excluding major holidays. The Duck Store makes every effort to ship your order as soon as possible.Orders placed by 12 pm PST Monday-Friday will typically be processed that day with some exceptions. Orders placed after 1 pm PST, including 2nd Day and Next Day shipments, may not get shipped until the following business day. Please take this into account when selecting your shipping method.Items in stock usually ship within 24-72 hours. Occasionally, we need to have items transferred from one of our retail Duck Store locations. - Orders are generally shipped on only business days (Monday—Friday). USPS Orders will not ship on federal holidays. Please factor in all holidays when estimating delivery times.
- Please allow 24-78 hours processing before your order is shipped.
- Fragile items, such as diploma frames and electronics hardware, may have additional handling/packaging costs.
- Canadian and other international orders may be subject to duties and/or taxes, due upon delivery.
NOTE: For text book orders, please allow 2 business days for processing and up to 4 business days for shipping to the western U.S. If there is any possibility that your order may arrive after you’ve left for school, we recommend picking up your order in-store to ensure that you and your books do not miss each other in transit.
- What are the available domestic shipping methods and what is the delivery schedule?
UPS Ground: Most domestic orders may be shipped via UPS Ground service. Depending on the destination, you can expect your order to arrive in 1-6 business days after the shipment leaves our warehouse, excluding holidays observed by UPS. Shipments to PO Box addresses are not available for UPS shipping. UPS delivers weekdays, Monday through Friday.
USPS Priority Mail: Most domestic orders may be shipped via USPS Priority Mail. The S&H cost varies, depending upon the destination and size of your order. Priority Mail is required for shipments to PO Boxes. It can also be an excellent option for rural locations and shipments to AK & HI. Depending on the destination, you can expect your order to be delivered in 1-6 business days after the shipment leaves our warehouse, excluding all Federal holidays. The Postal Service delivers Monday through Saturday.
UPS 2nd Day Air & Next Day Air: Most domestic orders may be upgraded to UPS Next Day or 2nd Day Air service. You can expect your order to arrive in 1 or 2 business days after the shipment leaves our warehouse. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding observed UPS holidays. Orders placed after 12 pm PST may not get shipped until the following business day. UPS Air options are not available for shipments to PO Boxes. UPS delivers weekdays, Monday through Friday. If you are ordering Friday before 12 pm PST and would like Saturday delivery, please contact our Call Center at (541) 346-9495 or toll free (800) 352-1733 Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m. PST to make special arrangements. Sunday delivery service is not available. NOTE: Next Day Air is not available for text book orders.
- I have an APO/FPO mailing address. What are my options?
We are happy to extend our $5.99 flat rate standard shipping & handling offer to US Service personnel serving worldwide. The shipping charge for APO/FPO addresses will be calculated automatically when you check out. Be sure to select USPS Priority Mail for these shipments, as UPS is not available for APO/FPO addresses.
- What countries do you ship to?
We ship internationally to Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, England, Finland, France, Germany, Guam, Holland, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Scotland, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, US Virgin Islands and Wales. Our international shipping & handling charges do not include any possible duties and taxes assessed by Customs of the destination country.To place an international order for a country not on the aforementioned list, please contact our Call Center at (541) 346-9495 between 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday PST or email email@example.com so we can provide you with instructions on how to order. - How long will my in-store package be available?
Your package will be held at our store locations for one week before returning to our shipping and processing center. If your order has been returned to our processing center, please call our customer service center toll free at (800) 352-1733.
