Information you provide us is strictly confidential. UODuckStore.com values its customers and is committed to responsible practices in handling customer information. We do not sell or share any of the information you provide to us. We do not authorize any third parties access to your information, including groups affiliated with the University of Oregon. It is used solely for the purpose of processing your online order.

If our practice of handling personal information changes in the future, we will let you know by posting the updated policy on our website. We will notify you if our policy changes the way we use your information in a way not previously disclosed in this privacy policy.

We collect information you provide (i.e. name, mailing address, email address, credit card numbers) when placing an order. We also collect click-stream information including the URL of the site that you came from before visiting our site, and which browser you are using to view our site.

When you make an online purchase, we use your information to process your order. We also send an e-mail confirming your order, and may need to contact you via phone if we have any questions regarding your order.

We do not use your email address to send email announcements about our products, services or promotions, but you have the option of signing up for this service by selecting YES in the Duck Shop E-Newsletter portion of the Online Order Form.

We may use third-party advertising companies, such as Performics, Inc., to serve or track ads on our web site and other web sites. These companies may use information (not including your name, address, email address or telephone number) about your visits to this site and other web sites in order to measure advertising effectiveness and to provide advertisements about good and services that may be of interest to you, such as Nike iD products.

We have many layers to secure any information that you send to us to complete your order (i.e. credit card numbers, phone numbers, addresses, etc). We use what is called SECURE SOCKET LAYER (SSL) technology to encrypt the information that you send us. You can tell that an area of our website is protected by SSL by looking at your address bar; instead of 'http://www.uoduckstore.com,' you will see 'https://uoduckstore.com.' This means that you are in secure mode.
