TIPS FOR STUDENTS: BUYING YOUR BOOKS
--
Buying your books can be a stressful experience. The Literary Duck offers resources that will save you valuable time and energy during rush.

GET YOUR BOOK LIST WITH BOOK HUNT
--
Bring your book list into the Literary Duck with you when you come to the Campus Duck Store to purchase your course books so you know exactly which books you need. You can access your booklist on UODuckStore.com by using Book Hunt. Simply enter in the CRNs of your classes and print out the generated list. Use it as your reference when you come to the store to save time! -- GO TO BOOK HUNT NOW
--
 USE LIBRARY RESOURCES
--
Check the UO Libraries course reserves. Some instructors place personal copies of course books or packets on reserve for short loans to students. In addition, the Duck Store provides copies of some high demand course books for course reserve borrowing. -- Summit catalog. If the book is owned by other libraries in the Orbis Cascade catalog, you may be able to borrow it within three days of your request. -- Check the UO Libraries catalog. UO Libraries have a limited number of course books in the collection. -- GO TO LIBRARY RESERVES NOW -- GO TO UO LIBRARIES SITE NOW

 SAVE YOUR RECEIPT
--
In order to return or exchange any unneeded books, you must have your receipt. Keep your receipt in a safe place. Make sure not to stash your receipt inside any of your books; if they were to be stolen with the receipt, the thief could easily return the book for a full refund and walk away with your cash! Books can be returned for a full refund two weeks after the term begins. After that, they can be saved and sold during our buyback period.
--
UTLIZE OUR EARLY DUCK RESERVATION PROGRAM
--
One of the UODuckStore.com's free features is Early Duck Reservation. Fill out the online Early Duck reservation form with your class information (dept, class number, CRN) and our Literary Duck team will gather all your course books and materials and box them up for you. After boxing your books, the Literary Duck will charge your credit card for the books. You can pick up your box of books at the beginning of the term, avoiding time spent searching for books and waiting in lines. -- GO TO EARLY DUCK NOW

 ASK QUESTIONS
--
The Campus Duck Store Literary Duck staff understands how stressful buying books can be, especially for new students and transfers. We are here to help make this experience as painless and easy as possible. If you have any questions, don't be afraid to pull aside a team member and ask! You can also visit the Information Kiosk in the middle of the Literary Duck floor for more information.
