What is your favorite part of being a Duck Store ambassador?

I get to play dress-up and celebrity as I attend photoshoots for new lines of clothing and just feel really cool!

Can you describe your job as a peer advisor for the Lundquist College of Business and the Student Veteran Center?

As a Peer Advisor for LCB, my duty is to inform students and consult them on their path to graduation. My focus is to create schedules both current and long-term for students so they know what courses to take to graduate on time.

As a Peer Advisor for the Student Veteran Center, my duty is to serve military-affiliated students in their transition to college life. I connect students with on-campus resources and provide guidance with my knowledge of campus and its inner workings.

What do these positions mean to you?

These positions allow me to give back to UO in such a meaningful way. I’ve spent 4 unforgettable years at UO and now I am able to guide students and instruct them how to make the next few years their best.

Why did you decide to join AKPsi? How long have you been involved, what sorts of events have you participated in, and what have you learned from your time in the fraternity?

I decided to join Alpha Kappa Psi in Fall of 2022 because I wanted to be surrounded by motivated and hard-working peers. The Brothers of AKPsi all operate in such a wide variety of roles and responsibilities that simply amazes me. In Alpha Kappa Psi, I feel among the best of the best students within the business school which motivates me to be just like them, an impact maker!

What do you hope to do after college? How will what you have learned through these positions allow you to thrive in your career?

I am hoping to study film more and get into film production to one day be a movie director.
