How to Throw the Best Graduation Party the World Has Ever Seen

5/20/2024 · Braydee Mahan

Here are a couple steps to take to make sure your party is as festive as possible.

The basics.

Start with the food and gift tables. That’s going be everyone’s go-to when they walk in. Place all your food on one table and leave another empty for gifts. A bouquet of flowers is a nice addition to either table especially if you get crafty with its vase. Try this mug or a pint glass that the graduate can use later on!

Ducks. Everywhere.

Whether the graduate is leaving high school or the U of O, they’re #OnceaDuckAlwaysADuck so feel free to be very liberal with your use of rubber duckies.

Don’t forget about the drinks.

Having drinks? Festively protect your tables with these coasters. Alternatively, provide guests with these fun drink koozies!

What about the walls?

Don’t forget the space above your beautifully decorated tables, there is a lot of wasted real estate up there. Get yourself some green and yellow Oregon streamers, balloons, banners, and anything else your heart desires.

Most importantly…

Don’t forget all your friends, family, neighbors, neighbor’s dogs, random people’s dogs*, and anyone else you want with you or your graduate as you celebrate this great accomplishment!

*Please don’t steal someone else’s dog.
