During the month of October, The Duck Store released officially licensed pink University of Oregon merchandise in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Exclusively available at The Duck Store, the pink gear included t-shirts, a jacket, hat, hooded sweatshirt, and jersey sported by the football team in their amazing win over UCLA. The Duck Store partnered with Oregon Cancer Foundation to serve as a beneficiary for a portion of product proceeds.
The OCF is a nonprofit organization that provides financial assistance and emotional support to individuals and families undergoing cancer treatment in Lane County. The Duck Store has donated to the OCF in the past (most recently in 2019) and has raised more than $1500. The goal of this year was to double that amount alone and we are proud to announce that The Duck Store raised $20,460.50.
Due to the overwhelming support from the community, The Duck Store has sold out of the BCA pink items, but is excited to continue to honor our community. This November, a portion of proceeds from our Nike Oregon Veterans collection will be donated to support our student veterans, members of the National Guard, reserve and active duty armed forces, and their family members!
